What started as a DIY project is still that at heart, but with a few upgrades that turned them into very "Industrious Stands".

We also introduce you to ways for you to build them yourself -- if you are so inclined -- although in low quantities, our prices are hard to beat.

Have you ever imagined creating a product by re-purposing products from three unrelated commercial industries that has features and benefits greater than those in the business of creating commercial and consumer products -- while actually creating a "tool", from an investment and resale perspective, and being environmentally conscious too ?
Some engineers really can and do think this way -- but you have to give them time and space to create while seeing past the "marketeers" with short sighted gears.
Good tools are purchased for life. Then sold or gifted to others when it's time to pass them on. The durability and modularity of our designs facilitate the re-use of parts and pieces as needs change into perpetuity.
Ideally, none of the parts we sell should find their way to a trash pile. And if you're industrious, you don't need us at all, as our designs are open source.
This is what mechanical engineering for a specific task looks like when not obfuscated by selfish needs of corporations and individuals that are non-centric to end use.
If a time ever comes for you to be done with your stands, they are assets with residual value. 70% of retail should be easily recoverable in the event of sale, and that's assuming you don't have any of the special collector's versions.

That is an entire single monitor stand with telescoping post and 4 axis bracket.
For a two monitor stand only one more square piece and another bracket is added. These are extremely compact when broken down. This type of design is good for use, as well as shipping, storage and the environment.
A stand can be broken down easily for packing, travel and storage.
Later you will see that monitors can be left connected to mounting plates and left on posts for transport , with just bases removed making things very convenient for mobile tear down and setup if not travelling far.
All the components are made from material associated with recycling - AND not one of them should really end up in the dump during your lifetime or someone elses after you.

Backstory and Assembly Photos
This concept of a DIY Dual Monitor stand with readily available parts from any hardware store was pursued in 2015 when a Mechanical Engineer wanted to go from a 4 monitor setup to 6. At that time there were less options on Amazon for over-under monitors, and he wanted to create something that was modular and comprised of parts all found at a local hardware store.
Eventually he found the parts to make it work but it was costly, it lacked some ergonomics, and it was not nice enough to become a sellable product.
The primary components are available at building supply businesses, but not the exact same quality, grades and styles. The original monitor mounting plate was an electrical box cover plate that was custom drilled. It has been upgraded to a machined aluminum and plastic composite, selected for its combination of strength and flexibility, The plastic knobs and plugs were added for ergonomics and aesthetics.
And it can be presented more like an engineered product line if need be too...
