1) Components and Systems for sale via Mail Order. Orders ship from Central California only at this point in time, but subject to expansion.
Business to Consumer and Business to Business
We offer mail order for components that enable you to build monitor stands, telescoping pole assemblies, and other systems for many uses.
We also currently offer assemblies specifically designed for monitor stands.
We publish Catalogs as Google Docs. We use email to facilitate purchases. No shopping cart at this time. Orders over $150 may be discounted from list price.
Business to Business
We may be able to process bulk orders to establish or replenish your own assembly bench if needed or to establish a Sample Case or a Point of Sale Display for those who want to offer these as part of your own offering.
In that capacity we'd be acting like a purchasing department and consolidating multiple shipments and deliveries into a single delivery.
2) Published Resources for Sale - Access to the Purchasing, Fabrication, and Assembly Bench Private Website, for example
For a $99 one time fee, you can get lifetime access to a private website with documents, photos and possibly some videos that would allow a small business, company or government entity to quickly create their own Purchasing processes, Fabrication, Systems, and an Assembly Bench for purposes of creating Industrious Stands for your needs. We also intend to include some information about advanced design concepts and engineering facts as we accumulate them.

3) Fee Based Design and Consulting Services
We offer paid design and consulting services should those be of interest. If you have design concept questions that can be answered via email with a sentence or two, or simple yes/no replies, they will be provided. Otherwise you would need to schedule a fee based consult. $120/hour with 15 minute increments. Paid in advance for new clients.
If you think of this as an Open Source Engineering Project these offerings should make more sense.
Below we provide an example of an Assembly for a monitor stand -- and below that are the components that are used to create such a stand. This is intended to get you thinking about how the components can go together to make something useful. Pricing below is for general reference only. See Order Forms for exact pricing and options. We do not have an online store at this time. Please use Order Form and email for Quotes and Orders.
Assemblies are a collection of components that are intended to "do something". A monitor stand assembly is created to hold one or multipe monitors, for example. Components are the items that are used to make up an assembly. If you buy an Assembly from us you are buying some components that we are just reselling and others we had to modify or fabricate.
This is an example of a Telescoping Post assembly with a 3 axis Bracket and a mounting plate -- ideal for a single computer monitor
A) a mounting flange
B) a 1/2” emt end connector
C) a 17" piece of 1/2” emt
D) a 3/4” emt coupling (modified to become a telescoping coupling)
E) a 17" piece of 3/4” emt tubing
F) a 3 axis mounting bracket attached to post
G) a 3/4 axis combo mounting bracket attached to post
H) a multi-use slide bracket
I) a monitor mounting plates that attaches to mounting brackets.
We sell assemblies like this with custom specifications. We also sell all the components to enable you to make these types of assemblies. And we sell access to information to enable you to efficiently buy all parts needed to make all the components and assemblies yourself.
List price for Telescoping Post Assembly with 1 or 2 monitor mounts and 3 axis or 3/4 axis brackets ranges from $41 to $65. ($29 base price for post assembly, $12 for each 3 axis mount assembly and $18 for each 3/4 axis mount assembly)
If you do NOT want ergonomic fasteners and/or if you did not want or need the flange, the price drops.
If you do not want or need the telescoping feature, just a fixed 3/4" EMT pipe with or without flange, the price drops.
NOTE: this is a modular commercial solution. The pricing is not expected to be competitive with Amazon offerings that are not modular nor meant for long lasting use and abuse.
NOTE: The assemblies start from the mounting flange up and they do not include a substrate for mounting.
The List Prices and just for general reference. See Order Sheet for actual pricing. Bulk discounts may apply. If you buy Components from us you are buying some items that we are just buying in bulk and reselling, and others we that we had to modify or fabricate.
Base Plate and EMT end connector - These are items we purchase separately in bulk and resell in 1/2" and 3/4" sizes. The screw that comes with them is not metric nor inch. We can sell you that not modified or by default, we re-tap each one to M6 for the ergonomic fastener or we insert a metric non-ergonomic fastener so it's ready for one if desired later.
List Price - $4.50 to $7
EMT Tubing - We cut 1/2" and/or 3/4" EMT tubing to 12", 17", 23" or custom length and deburr.
List Price: $4 - $6 each.
NOTE: The first & best place you can start to save some money is by buying, cutting, and deburring your own tubing. That way you can futz with custom tubing lengths better as well.
Telescoping Coupling - A telescoping coupling can be created 1) by using a low cost diy bushing 2) removing one of two screws, re-tapping the hole, and inserting a longer ergonomic or non-ergonomic fastener.
List Price - $3 - $4
NOTE: The standard screws in this coupling are NOT metric nor inch and they are NOT long enough to act as a locking screw on the smaller 1/2" EMT without a bushing. That's what gives rise to the need to drill and tap if you don't want to use a bushing. Inserting a bushing with the stand screw or replacements also helps remove "tube kink" if the telescope doesn't have much overlap but that is not required for function.
Bushing - 3/4" PEX Tubing can be used as a bushings between the 1/2" EMT and 3/4" Telescoping Coupling to enable the use for the stock coupling screw or to remove the telescoping Kink. It can also be used if for some reason you want to try to connect the Mounting Brackets directly to 1/2" EMT instead of 3/4" EMT.
List Price - $0.25to $3 per foot
3 Axis Bracket for monitor plate mounting or other attachments - This is a #0 conduit hanger bracket with the nut swapped for a wing nut or thumb nut and a locking screw assembly added.
List Price - $2 to 4.00
3/4 Axis Combo Bracket for monitor plate mounting or other attachments - This is 2 #0 conduit hanger brackets , one if which is modified via drill -- with additional hardware and a machined aluminum spacer. It's called a 3/4 combo bracket becuase if you use one hole it is the 3 axis bracket and if you use another it adds another axis of adjustment (tilt up/down).
List Price - $8.50 to $10.50
This multi-use slide bracket can be be used by itself, as a supplement the other brackets OR two of them can be used as a single system.
List Price - $9-12
3/4" plug end - $1 each
4.25 x 4.25" monitor mounting plate with 75x75 and 100x100 mm square VESA bolt patterns. (and a few others)
List Price - $8
Monitor Bracket Mounting Hardware
List Price - $1.50
Offset - Two 1/2" Street 90s
List price $3 for each 90.
NOTE: We sell other black pipe fittings and nipples as well. You can also do this with a street 90, a short nipple and regular 90 or two nipples and two regular 90s as well.
Bases, Mounting Systems and Accessories - $5 and up
We provide ideas for all methods. We currently only sell items related to lower cost, functional solutions.
When looking at these without an assembly photo, it is difficult to imagine these can be put together to make such useful, functional and even industrially artistic products.
